We Höflers love being out and about in the mountains and are happy to share our good fortune with you. Whether it's tour planning, weather forecasts or cable car opening times, we'll help you wherever we can. And as we are out and about in the mountains ourselves all year round, we know quite a lot. We really do!
IN LOVE WITH LAND AND MOUNTAINS
We love the mountains and our beautiful country. Stephan accompanies bikers on tours several times a week. What does Rita do? She makes jewellery and accessories from old climbing ropes (available at the hotel).
NO CAR NEEDED
You can leave the car at the Hotel or even at home. South Tyrol has fantastic lifts and well-functioning public transport. The best thing about it? With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you pay nothing. So why drive yourself?

TUESDAY: TRAINING-MTB
Technique training basic with a short ride
Learn the basics of mountain biking to be safer and have more fun in the mountains
Start: 10:00 a.m.
Programme: At the technical area:
-> Bike set-up (bike fitting)
-> Balance
-> Correct braking
-> Basic position
-> Uphill/downhill
-> Cornering technique
Afterwards we go for a short ride with a short stop. Return: approx. 15:00 Price: € 25 (without bike hire)
THURSDAY: E-MTB tour around Merano
Panoramic tour along mountain roads and forest paths
Altitude metres: approx. 1200
Ride distance: approx. 40 km
Start: 10:00 am Höfler Fernblick
Return: approx. 3:30 pm
Price: € 25 (without bike hire)
Route: Scena - Labers - Lana - Marlengo - Scena
Rest stop: en route Difficulty: medium
BIKEGUIDE STEPHAN
In addition to the hiking guide course, Stephan also trained as a South Tyrolean bike guide in 2019. Since then, he has loved his bike at least as much as his goalkeeper's gloves (yes, Stephan plays in goal for the Schenna leisure team). Two days a week, Stephan offers guided e-mountainbike tours in various levels of difficulty. Whether accompanied or alone - everyone will find their favourite route in Scena/Schenna. Mountain bikers can expect adventurous mountain roads and unspoilt single trails. Pleasure bikers can look forward to leisurely cycle paths along the Passer river or through blossoming apple orchards. (Of course, they are most looking forward to the obligatory refreshment stop). From spring to late summer, the Meranerland biking region offers the best conditions. That's all true!
